Barcelona, Gizmologi – Still at the same launch event, straight from the Mobile World Congress 2022 which took place in Spain, realme launched a second laptop. Realme Book Prime, this new realme laptop can be considered a higher variant option than the previous generation.
The Gizmologi team has reviewed the Realme Book and made it one of the best laptops at a price range of IDR 10 million, with specifications according to Intel Evo standards. Comes in a thin design, performance remains high with a superior screen. realme Book Prime was launched on the same basis, so it’s only natural that the exterior looks very familiar.
In fact, realme Book Prime is a realme Book Enhanced Edition that was previously released in China, and realme chose to use a different name when releasing it for the global market. Still using the aluminum chassis, one of the differences in the new color option, Real Green, complementing the other two color options, Real Silver and Real Blue.

Having a thickness of 14.9mm, the Realme Book Prime also still carries a 2K Full Vision Display screen, aka with four relatively thin bezels. The high screen resolution is also equipped with an IPS panel, measuring 14.2 inches with a 3:2 ratio that is designed to be comfortable for multitasking. Complete with a backlit keyboard and a wide touchpad.
What is improved in this second generation is its performance, because realme embeds a more powerful processor than Intel. Both are Intel Core i5, the variant used is i5-11320H, which incidentally has a higher TDP of 35W. The single-core frequency can go up to a maximum of 4.5GHz in turbo mode, while the CPU has 4 cores with 8 threads.
The GPU itself is still the same, use an integrated graphics card, namely Intel Iris Xe. Meanwhile, for those who really need to run many applications at once, finally, the Realme Book Prime is presented in RAM options up to 16GB. This point is important, considering that realme laptops use designs that are not upgradeable or cannot be customized by themselves.
The price of realme Book Prime is slightly more expensive
In addition to the new chipset and more spacious RAM options, the Realme Book Prime also features a new cooling system, called the Dual-fan VC Liquid Cooling System. As the name implies, there are two dual fans that help disperse heat, which is claimed to increase by 50% and can maintain fast performance for a longer time.
realme Book Prime also runs Windows 11 and supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity and a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 4 standards. One of the two USB-C ports on this laptop can be used for fast charging via a 65W adapter. While the 54WHr battery in it is claimed to be used for up to 12 hours non-stop.
The stereo speakers on the realme Book Prime are supported by sound effects from DTS. Meanwhile, to connect a smartphone with a PC, the PC Connect application is presented to view the screen display, to drag and drop directly without using cables. Realme Book Prime prices start at 999 Euros (Rp 15 million) for 8GB RAM & 1,099 Euros (Rp 17 million) for the 16GB version. Both feature 512GB SSD storage.
