Xiaomi officially brings tablets from the Redmi Pad series to the global market. The device is the Redmi Pad Pro which runs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
Redmi Pad Pro launched in the European market. The device is now listed on the brand’s EU & UK website and can be ordered and purchased at the introductory price.
The Redmi Pad Pro tablet has an LCD screen panel measuring 12.1 inches. The device offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a pixel density of 249ppi. This screen has a screen-to-body ratio of 83.6% which is equipped with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This display panel offers a contrast ratio of 1500:1 with around 67.7 billion colors and a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The panel also offers 4096 levels of brightness, DC dimming and Dolby Vision support. Plus, it has been protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
In its engine, the Redmi Pad Pro runs Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 with a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. The device has a 6GB + 128GB / 8GB + 256GB RAM configuration and can be expanded using a MicroSD card.
The battery capacity is 10,000mAh and is combined with 33W fast charging. Meanwhile, for audio, this tablet has four Dolby Atmos speakers and two microphones. As for software, it uses the HyperOS operating system based on Android-14.
On the camera side, the Redmi Pad Pro has an 8MP sensor with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 which supports AAC/SBC/aptX/aptX-HD/aptX-adaptive codecs, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet has a unibody metal coating and weighs 571 grams.
