Starting in December 2020, Qualcomm has just introduced their latest chipset for use in the 2021 flagship. Named Snapdragon 888, this chipset has been ‘ordered’ by 14 smartphone brands, and one of them is Realme. With the hashtag “Dare to Leap”, of course they will immediately prepare their newest flagship.
It didn’t take long, after some time after Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 888, Realme mentioned the codename of its new flagship, namely realme Race. As the name implies, this new flagship Realme will boast high performance, bringing the latest chipset from Qualcomm.
In the 2020 Tech Summit Digital event held by Qualcomm last night (1/12), Realme CEO Sky Li said that Qualcomm has always been one of the most important partners for Realme. The development of Realme Race itself has been in progress since a few months ago, and Realme will again present products that exceed the expectations of users around the world.

Leaked Design and Specifications Realme Race
In addition to this information, Realme also attached two leaked photos related to realme Race. The first photo, as Gizmo friends can see above, reveals the back of the Race realm. From the photo, it can be seen that the 2021 flagship will use glass material on the back cover, with the Realme logo on the bottom right side.
The left edge and the glass are curved, while the side corners look identical to the X2 Pro realm, the flagship that has been present in Indonesia since the end of 2019, with a silver frame. What looks very different is the camera module design, finally made different from the previous series.
The circular camera module accommodates four camera sensors, which also have the same dimensions, while the LED flash is placed on the right side. That’s all – Realme hasn’t shown the specifications of each sensor or at least the main sensor that will be carried. With the device name “Realme Race”, the smartphone runs realm UI 2.0 based on Android 11. With the RMX2202 model series, apart from using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, Realme Race also has a free RAM capacity of 12GB. The internal storage has a capacity of 256GB, with 239GB remaining for user use.
