In the press release, Kominfo stated that there were 5 e-wallets operating in Indonesia that were detected as facilitators of online gambling, and one of them was Dana Indonesia. Therefore, Dana immediately gave his response regarding this incident.
As one of the e-wallet platforms in Indonesia, Dana acknowledges that illegal activities such as online gambling are a complex problem and require cooperation from various parties, including the government and related institutions. Therefore, they periodically report suspicious transactions, especially those related to online gambling, to the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). Dana believes that by doing this, it can reduce the number of online gambling players spreading. The Fund and the PPATK have been in contact for a long time, and this was done so that the Fund could provide various information to the PPATK regarding all suspicious transaction activities.
