This is the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Smartphone in Indonesia

Qualcomm recently held the Snapdragon Summit, an annual event where they unveiled various new innovations, including smartphone chipsets.m to have to wait too long to be able to officially try a smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, because a brand has officially announced the presence of its flagship.

Yes, recently, iQOO as a sub-brand of Vivo has indeed introduced its newest flagship, namely the iQOO 12 Series. This smartphone has the latest and best chipset from Qualcomm. It also includes improvements in design and camera compared to the previous version.

iQOO Indonesia is set to unveil their latest smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s newest chip, just like they did last year.This is certainly good news, especially for technology fans or consumers who are looking for a smartphone with the fastest performance, especially mobile gamers.

iQOO 12 Has a TKDN Certificate

iQOO 12 Series

Information related to this was announced directly via iQOO Indonesia’s official social media. The iQOO 12 is now officially available and it is the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.Even faster than Xiaomi, which incidentally was the first to announce the Xiaomi 14 Series with the same chip.

The alleged presence of the iQOO 12 itself has been known for several weeks. The Indonesian TKDN site has certified the new iQOO smartphone, called iQOO 12.There is only one certificate, indicating that this year iQOO will only present one flagship variant again this year.

The iQOO 12 Series was launched in its home country with two options: the standard and Pro versions.Both of them use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with fantastic charging speeds and improvements to camera capabilities. There is only a slight difference in battery capacity, as well as the design of the corners of the device which are curved on two sides in the Pro variant.

With the emergence of official information from iQOO Indonesia, it is not impossible that in the near future consumers will be able to get the latest smartphone with the new Qualcomm chip. Will it be here before the new year? Let’s just wait for the latest information.

Price of iQOO Smartphone in Indonesia

iQOO Z7 5G Supernova Orange

Compared to the previous generation, the iQOO 12 Series will feature a more superior camera setup. Apart from the main sensor which is large at 1/1.3 inches, iQOO also has a periscope type telephoto sensor. Going further, it can provide 3x optical zoom, 10x “HD zoom” and a maximum digital zoom of up to 100x. The standard version of the iQOO 12 starts at CNY3,999 or IDR 8.5 million in its home country.

Currently, iQOO Indonesia is still selling three series of smartphones targeting different segments or groups. The flagship iQOO 11 is now priced at IDR 10,199 million, being a smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip which has a charging speed of 120W. You can consider the iQOO Z7 as a more affordable option. It has 80W Flash Charge and is available for IDR 3.8 million.

Apart from that, there is also the iQOO Z7X which is priced at IDR 2.9 million. This smartphone actually has the largest battery capacity, reaching 6000 mAh, making it one of the best gaming smartphones in its class.
