Jakarta, Gizmologi – As the pandemic subsided and headed for endemic, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes) changed the use of the PeduliLindungi apps. The popular application for tracking Covid-19 will change to the Indonesia Health Service (IHS) SatuSehat platform.
The plan is for new apps to launch on February 28.
Setiaji, the Chief Digital Transformation Office of Kemenkes, said that people do not need to re-download the SatuSehat application. This is because this application is only transitioning by updating the UI/UX that was previously in PeduliLilndungi automatically.
“We are currently transitioning from PeduliLindungi to SatuSehat. Where this application is not only for Covid-19, but all diseases will be included there,” said Setiaji in his statement, Thursday (16/2/2023).
The SatuSehat Application Stores Medical Records for All Illnesses
The new platform will still store almost all the medical data of each user, not only about COVID-19, but also about other diseases. Medical records in the SatuSehat application will include various vaccination records, laboratory test results, and a stunting database.
Given these broad benefits, Setiaji appealed to the public not to delete (uninstall) the PeduliLindungi application. Since the application will still be able to connect to the device wearables, a point collection feature will be available that can be exchanged to get vitamins and so on.
“Women can access vaccines, children’s vaccines. That’s one benefit, yes, when the child wants to go abroad, go to school, for example (asked) have they (vaccine) polio yet. It will be included in the Satu Sehat application,” he explained.
In terms of data security, Setiaji ensured that the ministry had made all preparations for the PeduliLindungi transition process. Including coordinating with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
In addition, the ministry is also working on making the SatuSehat application meet ISO 27001 information security management standards. “We have made preparations such as for example the BSSN assessment, starting from governance and so on,” he concluded.
As previously reported, the Ministry of Health had also inaugurated the One Healthy platform in July last year. The platform integrates service data from various health service facilities in Indonesia, including clinics, health centers, and pharmacies.
