OPPO A55 released in Indonesia, smartphone for midrange

In addition, this device is also supported by a large battery that lasts a long time and a fast-charging system.

According to Aryo Meidianto A, PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia, the OPPO A55 was launched as the successor of the A54 by bringing improvements, especially in terms of an ultra-clear 50 Megapixel camera, a large 5000mAh battery, and a modern 6.51-inch punch-hole screen.

Advantages of OPPO A55

Even though it is a middle-class device, the OPPO A55, priced at Rp. 2 million, is still designed with a stylish design. This smartphone comes in Rainbow Blue color which gives a color gradation from blue to silver and refracts the rainbow colors to the back cross-section. The phone also features a reinforced OPPO Glow design making it scratch-resistant and fingerprint-free.

The 3D curved design makes the device comfortable in one hand, especially with the thinner middle frame and weighing only 193 grams. OPPO places Side Fingerprint Unlock which is integrated with the power button on the edge of the frame, making the A55 look clean and very modern.

OPPO A55 embeds an AI Triple HD camera with a True 50MP AI Camera configuration, 2MP bokeh camera, and 2MP macro camera. The camera is arranged in a Dual Main-Camera design with a decorative ring that gives the impression of a premium device. Users are provided with OPPO’s signature camera features such as Backlight HDR to maintain detailed background photos, Night Mode to adjust exposure in low-light environments, and the Night Plus filter on the rear camera to allow the A55 to capture more stunning night view photos.

The 16MP selfie camera is equipped with the AI ​​Beautification feature to capture selfies while editing them but still showing natural beauty. Other features found on this device include Dazzle Color, Photo Filter, and Pano Shot. Not to forget, Fill Light 360° offers a new way to capture clearer selfies in low-light environments by illuminating the subject of the photo using additional light coming from the screen.

For charging, this device is equipped with an 18 Watt Fast Charge which can recharge the device 33% in 30 minutes.

To ensure a longer lifespan, Power Saving Mode will apply a power-saving strategy to certain apps, while Super Nighttime Standby will minimize power consumption by only 1.37% when the user falls asleep and forgets to turn off the device. OPPO A55 has equipped with IPX4 Splash – Waterproof certification which frees users from worrying when using the device in drizzling situations.

The OPPO A55 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with the option of expanding with a MicroSD card up to 256GB. OPPO A55’s 6.51-inch screen will provide an immersive experience for multimedia content and playing games. The screen of the A55 device is also equipped with the All-day Eye Care feature to protect the user’s eyes when staring at the smartphone screen for a long time.

OPPO equips the A55 with the ColorOS 11.1 system which runs smoothly thanks to a series of optimization features called System Booster. The system includes Idle Time Optimizer, Storage Optimizer, and UI First 3.0 which can increase the response rate by 5% and frame rate stability by 6.9%.

OPPO A55 is available in stages starting March 2022 in two color options Rainbow Blue and Starry Black. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Sold in Indonesia, the OPPO A55 is priced at IDR 2,699 million.
