A year ago, Smartfren became the first operator in Indonesia to deliver embedded sim card (eSIM) technology. Until now, there are still no other operators that have released this service. The good news, after a year, can only be used on the iPhone, now Smartfren eSIM can also be used on Samsung Android smartphones.

By using Smartfren eSIM, users can access the Smartfren network without using a physical SIM Card. Sukaca Purwokardjono, Deputy CEO of Mobility Business, said the presence of Smartfren eSIM for Android smartphones is proof that Smartfren continues to innovate to produce the best service for its customers.

“In the middle of last year, Smartfren first presented eSIM to iOS-based users and now Android-based users can already enjoy eSIM. By using Smartfren eSIM, customers can still use a physical SIM Card for other numbers. With eSIM, customers can enjoy 4G Dual SIM with a more stable connection, “said Sukaca, in a press release received Gizmologi in Jakarta (5/6).

For the Smartfren eSIM android, there are 75 thousand Unlimited Packages that provide Unlimited usage benefits with a data quota of 1 GB per day, free calls to all operators for 10 minutes, and free unlimited HD quality calls to fellow Smartfren with a validity period of 28 days.
