This last 2,1 Ghz radio frequency band clusters reorganization is part of the Indosat Ooredoo’s commitment to improve broadband penetration and support Indonesia’s Digital Economy 2020.

Indosat Ooredoo has completed the radio frequency band reorganization faster than previous set dates by the Ministry of Communication and Information which is due on 1 March 2018. The frequency band reorganization started on 21 November 2017.

“Indosat Ooredoo is committed to accelerate the 2,1 GHz radio frequency band clusters reorganization as part of our commitments to comply with regulations, support the government’s program as well as accelerate radio frequency band use for society and customers as this radio frequency band is limited resource that must be optimized,” said Dejan Kastelic, Chief Technology and Information Officer of Indosat Ooredoo.
