It’s not a surprise, Apple always makes anyone gawk when announcing the latest iPhone. Not just from the spec, these Cupertino phones are always able to make  “Wow” reaction. This time the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X also will make everyone gawking again.

When launched yesterday, Tuesday (09/12/2017) California time, iPhone 8 can be ordered September 15 starting at US $ 699 or approximately IDR 9 million, iPhone 8 Plus US $ 799 or approximately IDR 10.5 million. Meanwhile, iPhone X (called iPhone Ten), the price tag of US $ 999 or about IDR 13 million for 64 GB version and US$ 1,149 or about IDR 15 million for 256 GB version.

In addition to Apple brands that make it expensive, of course, there are other factors. Especially if not for the specifications? Let’s talk one by one, Gizmolovers!

iPhone 8

Among the three, the iPhone 8 has a lighter and sleeker look, with dimensions of 38.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm and weights 148 grams. This smartphone has a 4.7-inch LED-backlit Retina HD resolution of 1.334 x 750 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density.

Inside the hardware, iPhone 8 powered 6-core chipset A11 Bionic with 64-bit architecture, and 2 GB of RAM. For the camera features, this smartphone carries 12 MP rear camera with F / 1.8 lens openings and 7 MP front camera with F / 2.2 openings.

iPhone 8 Plus

Predictably, the iPhone 8 Plus certainly has a more bulky, where the dimensions are 158.4 x 78.1 x 7.5 mm and weighs 202 grams. The screen is 5.5 inches wide. The display and pixel screen are 401 ppi.

iPhone 8 Plus is powered by the same chipset as the iPhone 8 but has a larger RAM capacity of 3 GB. For the camera is also different, where there are dual-camera (wide 12 MP + 12 MP tele) and 7 MP front camera.

iPhone X

Being the most expensive, of course, iPhone X also has a more attractive design of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Unlike the two brothers carrying the aluminum frame, smartphone dimension 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 174 grams of this use of stainless steel surgery class of course stronger.

iPhone X comes with an OLED display that has a high resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 pixels and 458 ppi pixel density. In addition, this smartphone is also reinforced with features HDR and Dolby Vision is the sharpest display than the iPhone that ever existed at this time.

In addition, the iPhone X also has a more radical design changes than the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus that still carry TouchID features so not much different from the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. This smartphone comes with a bezel-less screen and removes the TouchID, so on the front it does not have a single button.

For the hardware, iPhone X is no different with the iPhone 8 from the processor and RAM. Likewise with the camera that both carry dual-camera. Only, this smartphone is presented in a vertical format, while the iPhone 8 horizontal.

Similarities

iphone X

We start first from the design, where all carry the body wrapped in the glass in the back. Apple selected this material because all three have been carrying the latest features of wireless charging.

What is the relation about? This is because this technology uses a wire coil that transfers currents within a short distance, where it will not work through the metal. Hence, do not be surprised if the smartphone that uses this technology like Samsung S8 and LG G6 has a rear body with glass material.

In addition, all three have True Tone technology on the screen to adjust the brightness level. Only, from the design, screen material, and resolution, iPhone X is superior to others. For durability, all three have IP67 certification that makes it resistant to water and dust.

In the camera feature, all new iPhone can record 4K video up to 60pfs and slow motion up to 230 fps. For the front camera can also record video up to 1080p resolution.

The latter, perhaps somewhat annoying for some people, where all three equally axed 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. For button placement, all three have the power button on the right, the volume on the left, and there is a Lightning port on the bottom flanked by the speaker grill.

Well, by knowing the specifications and features presented, do you think when this brand-new iPhone price keeps you gawping?
