Lenovo Believes that Its PC Sales Still Perform in the Corporate Market

Although in developing countries such as Indonesia, the share of the PC market is still fairly low, Lenovo remains confident will be the ruler in this segment, especially the corporate. Moreover, the name of the vendor is spelled out so one of the PC manufacturers that aggressively invaded the market with innovative PC products.

It is claimed Cin Cin Go, Commercial Director of Lenovo Indonesia, which states that the sales target for this has always been the top market growth, by an average of 15%. He believes that with the presence of different innovations from vendors of its competitors, Lenovo will continue to annex the share of a wider market in Indonesia.

“That’s the importance of the improvement which we do on some products, can be a differentiator with other vendors. Of course we also always try to listen to customer feedback and continue to try new things,” he said on the sidelines of the event Lenovo Technology Day Vol. III which was held in Jakarta, Thursday (3/30/2017).

Cin Cin to admit that at this time the potential of the PC group to Lenovo is big in the corporate segment, primarily engaged in the financial and insurance. In fact, she claims in this segment achievement of sales fairly satisfactory.

“For the moment, we are in the top ranking for market share in the segment of medium-sized businesses for four years in a row. As for the corporate segment or what we call strategic accounts, our position in the rank-2,” she said.

What is disclosed Cin Cin is not just a blabber mouth, given based on data released by Gartner, Lenovo has managed to ship out as much as 14,434,000 PC units globally in the 3rd quarter of 2016. This Vendor managed to be in the position of the peak of sales with a market share of as much as 20.9%, of the total 68.9 million PC units were successfully sold.

“The PC market, especially in the corporate segment indeed does not grow rapidly, but not also decreased. We believe our sales figures continue to grow,” she said.
